Rotors are often used at high temperatures, which is why it is neccessary to adjust the dimensions to compensate for rubber expansion.

When is it necessary to change the rotor?

When the lubricated stator mounts inefficiently and there is lack of adjustment within the rotor, this is due to normal wear and tear. Then it is necessary to change the rotor.

To ensure proper operation of the pump, it is preferable to change the rotor and in this way premature wear of the stator is avoided due to the lack of adjustment between the stator and the rotor.

Materials used for the manufacture of rotors:

  • Stainless steel with and without hard chrome plating
  • Nitriding steel 1,8550

For applications in contact with abrasive liquids, surface coatings can be applied that considerably increase their durability.
